Imagine the fear a large candle manufacturer might have had of Edison's light bulb invention. A new invention can even lead all the way to the prohibition of superior technologies in order to eliminate competition. The patent for plastic made from petroleum was filed on 01/22/1935. Of course, this would have never had the opportunity to monopolize so many industries if the superior more cost effective hemp plastics had not been made illegal by the later deemed unconstitutional 1937 Marijuana Tax Act, which made all non drug forms of hemp illegal. Many people are unaware of the past and the present kinds of would be revolutionary technologies. Does technology like this stand a chance to see the light of day or will it remain hidden behind the curtain of mindless synchronized media outlets?

As diesel engines were invented to be fueled by plant oils, hemp was more than suitable. The Ford company not only used hemp to fuel their cars but they even built much of the car from hemp materials which rival that of the best light weight or dent resistant materials used today.
